Coming Back from Shenzhen
(I) Airport
This time I was in a hurry to Shenzhen for catching the morning flight 8:10am. It was too late that I found I started out without carrying the camera. The HQ Airport was so crowded and a SH lady said she wanted to move ahead of us for her flight was 8:10 she was afraid of missing the flight. I thought it was OK but some men begun to murmur. Indeed I was taking the same flight and it was fair for every one to stand the right position in the queue. When I picked the boarding pass, the tortuous queue in the security check shocked me. But anyway, I remembered the golden rule from Angela: When you solved the boarding pass, anything will be OK even the airplane will wait for you as long as not too exaggerating. One airport staff coordinated us by leading us to the underground security stand. But unfortunately, our queue came into a still for the scan went wrong. The people behind me begun to complain. 10 minutes later, it worked eventually. The time was a bit tight compared with the evening flight for morning a lot of people take the flight.
(II)Dameisha and Red Forest
I lived in the downtown hotel close to the Luo Hu Lake Train Station, a hub between Guangzhou and Hong Kong. The coach took so much long time that went above my wildest imagination. It took about 2 hours to get to the Dameisha Park. A lot of citizens brought swimming hoops on the bus and I followed a team of young people. At the beginning I saw the signal of going left. But they insisted going right. Then the mentality of “following” is a poison and they realized their mistake and we went back in hot weather. What’s interesting, it was stormy when the bus went through a bridge and suddenly it turned sunny when the bus drove ahead. Near the gate of Yan Tian, the bus stopped and asked all the passengers to check ID cards. I was a little at loss for the guy from Gui Zhou was checked so long. In contrast, the police browsed my ID and said it’s OK within several seconds. Maybe I was not like a suspect. Beside the beach many containers Hanjin, Maersk, CMA, Evergreen and Kline were in piles. They are always heard in Cissy’s customers. It was the first time to see the sea. The mountains in the cloudy sky were really nice. Many people swam or played the water in the sand beach.
I continued my trip to Red Forest Natural Conservation Park. There are tropic plants like coconut forest, oil palms and mango trees…..too many to mention. Opposite the long corridor I saw Hong Kong, where a lot of skyscrapers stand like a fairy. It must be a well-planned city. Haha, I will definitely visit it but not now for playing alone in Disney must be a tragedy. Since it was afternoon, a lot of birds must be sleeping; I heard their sound but not seeing their flying figures. Shenzhen is a coast city called Peng, which means a large bird in Chinese. It well preserves so many natural resource.
(III)Traffic
The conductors talked in a very strange way and it wasn’t as easy as English. The driver was so gossipy and he introduced something about Lotus Mt. Park in which there is a Deng Xiao Ping’s Statue. His sight shouldn’t be prevented so Fu Jian highrises can only be built two sides. I left him my cell phone number so that every morning he could pick up me from downtown to the Holiday Inn in South Mt. When I left the city, he wished me and said he wanted to be my friend. I had nothing to say….. too warm!
(IV) Dong Men Street
The downtown is as modern as Shanghai Nanjing Rd Pedestrian. There are a lot of J or K style stores with shoes, fake Dior, Chanel and clothes. The department store is just like that in Shanghai. For I am too lazy, not a shopping animal, it wasn’t too much for me.
(V) Hong Hu Lake Park
Lotus exhibition caught many people’s attention in Hong Hu Lake Park. The lotus blossoms were beautiful on large leaves. Lichee and peaches fruit hung high in the trees and many tall guys picked them. Overall, the natural scenery is well preserved in Shenzhen. The road was in heavy traffic jam in Friday for storm and lightening. The water was 2m high on the expressway.
